The Best Wedding Venues in Dallas, TX

A fun and well-rounded city, Dallas has a jumble of ultramodern skyscrapers, the largest arts district in the United States, museums of the highest quality, and pulsating nightlife. The Design District breathed new life into an austere neighborhood of warehouses, and Klyde Warren Park replaced the former freeway route. But don’t worry, you’ll still always be able to find old-time Texas trademarks like big steaks, BBQ, and honky tonks among the upscale restaurants and culture! It’s no wonder you want to host your wedding here in Dallas.

Best Outdoor Venues

Nasher Sculpture Center

Chandler’s Gardens

This 200-acre lush and rustic property offers a beautiful and flourishing location for your amazing day! Exchange vows in a heritage rose garden, where antique blooms surround a shady, peaceful lawn. A flagstone walkway leads toward your altar: a rustic, “Texas-sized” wood pergola, where your friends and family can enjoy your ceremony and nature. Continue the festivities under the Rose Garden’s impressive tent. Its peaked roof is hung with chandeliers and globe lights, while removable windows and doors invite cooling breezes and views of the surrounding flowers. There is also an elegant indoor reception spot: the Mediterranean-inspired clubhouse! Wrought-iron sconces and chandeliers add to the romantic ambiance, and you and your guests will love the courtyard dance floor that’s modeled after an Italian piazza.

Best Rustic Venues

Peninsula Ranch and Lodge

This gorgeous ranch includes a stately mansion and barn, with waterfront views. Even with those amenities, the Peninsula Ranch and Lodge maintains its vintage rustic charm! You may utilize the natural beauty of the venue in any way you want — outdoor, indoor, or a combination. The Lodge itself is an 8 bedroom masterpiece made from locally-sourced timber, offering your wedding party lovely and convenient accommodation. For the same single-day cost of other venues, use the entire property for three days and two nights with friends and family, with time to decorate to your heart’s desire, and no rushing to pack up and leave in the night. And, children can play throughout the grounds while deer, zebras, and other wildlife graze nearby.

The Hidden Jewel

You’ll feel the Hidden Jewel’s heavenly atmosphere from the second you step on the property. Its rustic, yet quite elegant and upscale decor will set the scene for your perfect wedding. The barn and all of the wood furnishings give off a more low-key vibe, but the team’s styling skills can make the entire space look exactly how you are envisioning. The barn sits atop a 300-acre farm and the entire space is essentially a blank space for you and your partner to design, decorate, and enjoy. You and your guests can meander toward the gazebo along the intimate pathway, the incredibly picturesque photo-op spot.

Best Affordable Venues

Garden Cafe

The Garden Cafe provides a much smaller and more private space for your wedding while also maintaining an atmosphere that is filled with nature’s beauty.  This spot is surrounded by a beautiful garden that gives off a sweet herb-scent that will not only make your vows look great but smell great too. After the ceremony you can dine in a vine-covered pergola or guests can eat in the beautifully decorated wood-paneled dining room. This venue seats a smaller capacity than most of 60-75 guests, but it just makes the day all the more special and intimate.

The Chapel at Chestnut Square

After your exchange of vows in the light-filled clapboard Chapel, guests can wander the grounds of the lovely historic village. Boasting lush gardens and a collection of beautifully restored buildings dating from the 1850s, you’ll love your surroundings! Host your reception in The Bevel Reception House, a charming 1920s Arts and Crafts bungalow. It opens onto gardens covered with wisteria, crepe myrtles and roses, and has an adjacent covered pavilion with café lighting. A gorgeous 1870s Victorian home will serve as your bridal suite. It’s decorated with comfortable vintage furniture and has a hair and makeup studio, dressing room, dining room, and sitting room. What great value for such a lovely venue!
