Does the Forever Service Plan protect against loss or theft?

No. The Forever Service Plan does not provide replacement for theft or loss and it does not cover the center stone. We offer Zillion Insurance for your jewelry if you would like that additional coverage.

Forever Service Plan Terms & Conditions

This Forever Service Plan is a service plan (this "Service Plan"), not a contract of insurance. Unless otherwise regulated under state law, the contents under this Service Plan should be interpreted and understood within the meaning of a "service contract" in United States Public Law 93-637. The purchase of this Service Plan is optional. This Service Plan is available only to United States purchasers for purchases made in the United States.

These Terms and Conditions, together with your proof of purchase, constitute the entire contract relating to your coverage. Your proof of purchase describes the covered Product(s) and the term of this Service Plan. This document and your proof of purchase set forth the entire agreement between you and us with respect to this Service Plan, and no representation, promise or condition applies to this Service Plan unless it is contained in either of these two documents.

You and we (defined below) agree to the terms of these introductory paragraphs and each of the numbered terms and conditions below.

1. Definitions: The terms listed in italics below have the meanings following them:

The Terms Administrator, Service Plan Provider, we, us and our all mean the entity responsible for administering this Service Plan and the entity that is contractually obligated to you under the terms of this Service Plan: Great Heights Inc., Two Stamford Landing Suite 100, 68 Southfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06902 1-888-487-2145.

Covered Services means the following services: a once per 12-month period inspection (including our providing you with 3-day shipping services required to ship the Product to and from the place we designate); where we can clean, polish, rhodium plate; resize; tighten stones; re-tip prongs as needed; re-shank (up to ½ shank); replace head; repair clasps; replace or repair chains; replace earring backs; repair damaged setting (return to round, solder crack in shank to repair, straighten head only), to the level of fit and finish as designed as by the manufacturer under normal service and use of the Product.

Normal Wear and Tear means the failure of a covered Product to maintain the fit and finish as designed by the manufacturer.

Plan Price means the amount paid for this Service Plan.

Product(s) means the item(s) you bought that are specifically covered under this Service Plan as shown on your proof of purchase.

Retail Price means the consideration you paid for the Product(s) you bought as shown on your proof of purchase. Retailer means the store (if applicable) and seller where you bought the Product(s) and this Service Plan, as shown on your proof of purchase.

Service Plan means this Service Plan, which you have purchased for the Product(s) described on your proof of purchase.

The terms Service Plan Holder, you and your all mean the purchaser or the original gift recipient of this Service Plan, as described on the proof of purchase.

2. Parties to this Service Plan: This Service Plan is between you and us.

3. Instructions: You may be required to present this Service Plan and your proof of purchase for any Product repair.

4. Length of Coverage: The coverage period for this Service Plan begins on the purchase date as shown on your proof of purchase and is for 35 years.

5. What is Covered: This Service Plan covers the Covered Services. In consideration of your payment of the Plan Price, we will cover 3-day shipping services required to ship the Product to and from the place we designate and the labor and parts required to return your Product to the level of fit and finish as designed as by the manufacturer, as a result of normal wear and tear, or due to a defect in material or workmanship, as determined by the Administrator. Our aggregate limit of liability is the lesser of the Retail Price you paid for the Product, or replacement with an item of similar features and value, or providing you with, at our option, a gift card or a cash settlement, not to exceed the original Retail Price of the covered Product. Covered Services are limited to: ring sizing, refinishing and polishing, rhodium plating, earring repair, earring back replacement, clasp replacement, chain soldering or replacement, repair to damaged settings (consisting of return to round, solder crack in shank to repair, straighten head only), re-tipping prongs as needed, replacing head, re-shanking (up to ½ shank) and tightening your diamonds and gemstones.

Any engraving or custom work on any replaced Product or part of a Product must be redone at your expense. Any replacement Product we provide to you under this Plan will be a new Product with equal or similar features and functionality, but may not be the same brand as the replaced Product.

To obtain coverage under the Service Plan, you must give us the Product as described in Section 6 below.

Upon our replacement of any Product under this Service Plan, the replaced Product (the “Replacement”) becomes our property. Our delivery of a Replacement will fulfill all of our obligations under this Service Plan with respect to the Product. At the time we provide a Replacement for your Product, this Service Plan will automatically terminate with respect to such Product.

If the term of this service plan overlaps with the term of your manufacturer’s warranty, you must first look to your manufacturer’s warranty for coverage. This service plan excludes coverage for any loss covered by your manufacturer’s warranty, but may nevertheless provide benefits in addition to those provided by your manufacturer’s warranty.

6. How to Obtain Covered Services: You may take your Product to the Retailer from which it was purchased or contact the Administrator, Monday - Friday, [8 a.m. EST - 7 p.m. EST] and Saturday and Sunday, [7 a.m. EST - 6:30 p.m. EST] at 1-888-487-2145 for instructions on obtaining repair or replacement of your covered Product. In California, the Administrator may be contacted at 1-888-487-2145. Have this Service Plan and your proof of purchase handy and be prepared to tell us which covered Product requires service and the nature of the problem. You have the duty to protect against any further damage.

7. Deductible: No deductible is required to obtain Covered Services under this Service Plan.

8. Non-Repairable Products: If we, in our sole discretion, determine that a Product is not repairable, or that the cost for repair may exceed the Retail Price you paid for the Product, we may replace the Product with an item of comparable type, quality and function as the original covered Product. The retail price of the replacement item shall not exceed the Retail Price of the original covered Product. If we elect to replace your covered Product and a replacement item is not available, we will provide you, at our option, a gift card or a cash settlement. The amount of the gift card or cash settlement shall not exceed the current retail cost of a replacement item of type, quality and function, and such retail cost shall not exceed the Retail Price you paid for the original covered Product plus sales tax paid.

9. Limitation of Our Liability: If the Product is replaced or a gift card or a cash settlement is provided, all of our obligations under this Service Plan will be completely fulfilled, no coverage will be provided for any replacement item, and we shall have no further obligations for the Product or any replacement item for the remainder of the term of this Service Plan, if any.

10. Parts: Materials furnished as replacements for parts will be drawn from our repair service contractor’s inventory of new or used parts and components. These materials will be furnished under provisions of the manufacturer’s warranty while still in effect and then by our service contractor during the remainder of its term of coverage.

11. What is Not Covered: This Service Plan does not cover services, repair or replacement necessitated by any loss or damage resulting from any of the following:

  • Any cause other than normal service and usage, including but not limited to, loss or damage due to misuse, abuse or neglect, unauthorized repairs or accidental damage;
  • Lack of following manufacturer’s recommended maintenance or instructions;
  • Parts failure due to a manufacturer’s recall, regardless of the manufacturer’s ability to pay for such repair;
  • Any and all pre-existing conditions that occur before the effective date of this Service Plan;
  • Any inherent design defect in the Product;
  • Introduction of any foreign object into the Product, tampering with prongs, bezels or other elements designed to secure stones;
  • Loss of diamonds, gemstones or other parts of the Product;
  • Rust, corrosion, fire, collision, vandalism, windstorm, hail, earthquake, theft or burglary, negligence, transport, riot, acts of God, or any other peril;
  • Water damage if used under conditions that exceed the manufacturer’s recommendations or specifications;
  • War, whether declared or undeclared, terrorism, insurrection, revolution, rebellion, destruction or seizure for military purpose, discharge of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, radioactive contamination, allergy, reaction or pandemic;
  • Damage or loss resulting from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the Product;
  • Products that are stolen, lost, misused or that mysteriously disappear;
  • Any loss other than a Covered Service;
  • Damage that is not reported to the Administrator before the expiration of this Service Plan;
  • Loss of use while the Product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts;
  • Pieces of Product(s) or Product(s) with serial numbers or other identifying markings that have been altered or removed;
  • Any type of accessory or unauthorized modifications or pieces with alterations from the original Product or Product SKU.

Nothing in this Service Plan obligates us to replace Products other than as a result of a defect in material or workmanship or normal wear and tear. This Service Plan does not cover excessive or abusive treatment of any Product.

If you purchase this Service Plan after you bought the Product, this Service Plan does not cover pre-existing conditions in the Product that occurred after you bought the Product and before the effective date of the Service Plan.

in no event shall we or this service plan be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, no matter what the cause, whether in plan, tort, or negligence, including delay in repair or replacement under this service plan, or loss of use during the period that a product is awaiting repair or replacement.

This Service Plan does not cover claims arising from any breach of implied or expressed warranty of merchantability or fitness of the Product from the manufacturer.

12. Products Not Eligible for Coverage: This Service Plan does not provide any service for Products used for commercial purposes, or Products sold “as is”.

13. Renewals: This Service Plan is not renewable.

14. Transfer: This Service Plan is not transferable.

15. Cancellation: You may cancel your Service Plan within the first 100 days after purchase by either returning the Service Plan to the Retailer from whom you purchased it or mailing your cancellation request to the Administrator at 1-888-487-2145 and receive a refund in the amount of 100% of the Plan Price, less the cost of any repairs made, except as otherwise required by law. You may cancel your Service Plan after 60 days from the date of purchase by either returning it to the Retailer from whom you purchased it, or by mailing your cancellation request to the Administrator at Great Heights Inc., Two Stamford Landing Suite 100, 68 Southfield Ave, Stamford, CT 06902, 1-888-487-2145. You will receive a pro rata refund of the Plan Price based on a term of 35 years less the cost of claims paid (if any). We are entitled to an administrative fee of ten percent (10%). Ninety percent (90%) of the Plan Price is earned at the end of year 31; no refund will be due after the 31st year. The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive your request for cancellation together with your Service Plan. We reserve the right to cancel this Service Plan at any time in the event of fraud, material misrepresentation, or nonpayment by you. If we must cancel this Service Plan, you will receive a pro rata refund of the Plan Price based on a term of 35 years less the cost of any claims paid except as otherwise required by law. If we must cancel this Service Plan, you will be provided with a written notice at least 30 days before we cancel, at your last known address, with the effective date and reason for cancellation. Prior notice of cancellation is not necessary if canceled due to nonpayment of the Plan Price or material misrepresentation by you. If this Service Plan was inadvertently sold to you on a Product(s) that was not intended to be covered by this Service Plan, we will cancel this Service Plan and return the full Plan Price of the Service Plan to you.

16. Arbitration: READ THE FOLLOWING ARBITRATION PROVISION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS CERTAIN OF YOUR RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO OBTAIN RELIEF OR DAMAGES THROUGH COURT ACTION.To begin Arbitration, either you or we must make a written demand to the other party for arbitration. The Arbitration will take place before a single arbitrator. It will be administered in keeping with the Expedited Procedures of the Commercial Arbitration Rules (“Rules”) of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) in effect when the claim is filed. You may get a copy of the AAA’s Rules by contacting AAA at 1633 Broadway, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10019, calling 1-800-778-7879 or visiting www.adr.org. The filing fees to begin and carry out arbitration will be shared equally between you and us. This does not prohibit the arbitrator from giving the winning party their fees and expenses of the arbitration. Unless you and we agree, the Arbitration will take place in the county and state where you live. The Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1, et seq., will govern and no state, local or other arbitration law will apply. YOU AGREE AND UNDERSTAND THAT this Arbitration provision means that you give up your right to go to court on any claim covered by this provision. You also agree that any arbitration proceeding will only consider your Claims. Claims by, or on behalf of, other individuals will not be arbitrated in any proceeding that is considering your Claims. Please refer to the State Disclosures section of this Service Plan for any added requirements in your state. If this Arbitration provision is not approved by the appropriate state regulatory agency, and/or is stricken, severed, or otherwise deemed unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, you and we specifically agree to waive and forever give up the right to a trial by jury. Instead, if any litigation arises between you and us, any such lawsuit will be tried before a judge, and a jury will not be empaneled or struck.

17. The Following State Specific Requirements Are Added to And Become Part of Your Service Plan and Supersede Any Other Provision to the Contrary:

AL, AR, CO, CT, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SC, WA, and WY only: The obligations of the Service Plan Provider under this Service Plan are guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy issued by [American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida or another qualified insurance company]. If We fail to pay or provide service on a claim within sixty (60) days after proof of loss has been filed with us, you are entitled to make a claim directly against the [American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida or another qualified insurance company] at the following address: [11222 Quail Roost Drive, Miami, FL 33157], or call the toll-free number at [1-800-852-2244].

AZ, HI, MT, VA and VT only: The obligations of the Service Plan Provider under this Service Plan are insured under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy issued by [American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida or another qualified insurance company], [11222 Quail Roost Drive, Miami, FL 33157].

AL, AR, CO, MA, ME, MN, MO, NJ, NV, SC and WY only: FREE LOOK: You may, within twenty (20) calendar days of mailing of the Service Plan, or ten (10) days if delivered at time of sale, reject and return this Service Plan. Upon return of the Service Plan within the applicable time period, if no claims have been made, you will be refunded the full Plan Price. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be added to a refund that is not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days after the return of the Service Plan. This provision applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

GA, LA, OR, WI, WY only: The ARBITRATION provision is deleted in its entirety. It is not applicable to you.

Alabama only: Under CANCELLATION, any reference to less the cost of any claims paid is deleted in its entirety. Under CANCELLATION, any reference to an administrative fee of ten percent (10%) is deleted and replaced with the following: We are entitled to an administrative fee of twenty-five dollars (125.00). No claim incurred or paid will be deducted from any cancellation refund regardless of who initiates the cancellation.

Arizona only: Under WHAT IS NOT COVERED provision, item (d) is deleted and replaced with the following: (d) any and all pre-existing conditions that occur prior to the effective date of this Service Plan, except if such conditions were known or should reasonably have been known by us or our subcontractors; The following is added to the CANCELLATION provision: No claim incurred or paid will be deducted from any cancellation refund regardless of who initiates the cancellation. We will not cancel or void this Service Plan due to acts or omissions of us or our subcontractors for failure to provide correct information or to perform the services or repairs provided in a timely, competent, workmanlike manner, pre-existing conditions that were known or should have reasonably been known by us or our subcontractors, prior use or unlawful acts relating to the Product or misrepresentation by the Administrator or its subcontractors or program ineligibility. All reference to an administrative fee is deleted and replaced with an administrative fee of ten percent (10%) of the gross amount paid for your Service Plan. The following is added to the ARBITRATION provision: Arbitration cannot be an absolute dispute remedy and both parties must agree to Arbitration. This Arbitration provision does not prohibit an Arizona resident from following the process to resolve complaints under the provisions of A.R.S. § 20-1095.09, Unfair trade practices as outlined by the Arizona Department of Insurance. To learn more about this process, you may contact the Arizona Department of Insurance at 100 North 15th Avenue, Suite 102, Phoenix, AZ 85007-2624, Attn: Consumer Affairs. You may directly file any complaint with the A.D.O.I. against a Service Company issuing an approved Service Contract under the provisions of A.R.S. §§ 20-1095.04 and/or 20-1095.09 by contacting the Consumer Affairs Division of the A.D.O.I., toll-free phone number 1-800-325-2548.

California only: The following is added to the CANCELLATION provision: You may cancel your Service Plan if you return the Product(s), or the Product(s) is sold, lost, stolen or destroyed. The CANCELLATION provision is amended from sixty (60) days from date of purchase to sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of your Service Plan. We may assess an administrative fee, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the Plan Price of the Service Plan or twenty-five dollars (125), whichever is less. The following is added to the ARBITRATION provision: The arbitration provision does not limit or abridge in any way the filing by a California resident of a civil action to enforce rights conferred by the Ralph Civil Rights Act, California Civil Code Section 51.7. Nothing herein shall prevent you from bringing an action in a small claims court of appropriate jurisdiction for damages not to exceed 15,000.00. The arbitration provision does not prohibit a California resident from following the process to resolve complaints as outlined by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. To learn more about this process, you may contact them at 1-800-952-5210, or you may write to Department of Consumer Affairs, 4244 S. Market Court, Suite D, Sacramento, CA 95834, or you may visit their website at www.bearhfti.ca.gov.

Colorado only: CANCELLATION is amended as follows: Prior notice of cancellation is not necessary if canceled due to nonpayment of the Plan Price, material misrepresentation, or a substantial breach by you relating to the covered Product or its use.

Connecticut only: If we are unable to resolve any disputes with you regarding this Service Plan, you may file a written complaint with the State of Connecticut, Insurance Department, P.O. Box 816, Hartford, CT 061242-0816, Attn: Consumer Affairs. The written complaint must contain a description of the dispute, the purchase price of the covered Product subject to the Service Plan, the cost of repair of the covered Product, and a copy of the Service Plan. The following is added to the TO OBTAIN SERVICE provision: If the covered Product is in a repair facility at the time of contract expiration, the expiration date will automatically be extended until the repair is complete. The following is added to the CANCELLATION provision: You may cancel this Service Plan if you return the covered Product or if the covered Product is sold, lost, stolen, or destroyed.

District of Columbia only: FREE LOOK: You may, within thirty (30) calendar days of mailing of the Service Plan, or thirty (30) days if delivered at time of sale, reject and return this Service Plan. Upon return of the Service Plan within the applicable time period, if no claims have been made, you will be refunded the full Plan Price. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be added to a refund that is not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days after the return of the Service Plan. This provision applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Florida only: The rate charged for this Service Plan is not subject to regulation by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. Under CANCELLATION, any reference to administrative fees is deleted. The following is added to the ARBITRATION provision: While Arbitration is mandatory, the outcome of any Arbitration shall be non-binding on the parties, and either party shall, following Arbitration, have the right to reject the Arbitration award and bring suit in a court of competent jurisdiction. The Arbitration action will take place in the county where the insured resides.

Georgia only: Should any discrepancies arise between the English and Spanish service contract forms in the interpretation of a given issue, the English version will take precedence in all matters. This Service Plan does not provide coverage for any and all pre-existing conditions known by you that occur prior to the effective date of this Service Plan. The following is added to the CANCELLATION provision: You may cancel this Service Plan at any time. Cancellation will be in accordance with O.C.G.A 33-24-44 of the Georgia Code. If you wish to cancel, you must notify the Administrator in writing or surrender the Service Plan to the Administrator, whereupon the Administrator will refund the unearned Plan Price. If you cancel, refunds must be determined on the excess of the Plan Price above the customary short rate for the expired term of the contract. No claim paid or incurred or cancellation fees shall be deducted from any refund owed. The CANCELLATION provision is amended to state that when cancellation occurs for fraud, non-payment and material misrepresentation the cancellation notice will be mailed to you at least thirty (30) days prior to the cancellation date.

Hawaii only: FREE LOOK: You may, within thirty (30) calendar days of mailing of the Service Plan, or twenty (20) days if delivered at time of sale, reject and return this Service Plan. Upon return of the Service Plan within the applicable time period, if no claims have been made, you will be refunded the full Plan Price. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be added to a refund that is not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days after the return of the Service Plan. This provision applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. CANCELLATION is amended as follows: Prior notice of cancellation is not necessary if canceled due to nonpayment of the Plan Price, material misrepresentation, or a substantial breach by you relating to the covered Product or its use.

Illinois only: CANCELLATION is amended as follows: The Retailer may assess an administrative fee, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the Plan Price of the Service Plan or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is less.

Indiana only: Proof of payment to the Retailer that sold you this Service Plan constitutes proof of payment to [American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida or another qualified insurance company], issuer of the insurance policy that insures our obligation.

Maryland only: FREE LOOK: You may, within twenty (20) calendar days of mailing of the Service Plan or twenty (20) days if delivered at time of sale, reject and return this Service Plan. Upon return of the Service Plan within the applicable time period, if no claims have been made, you will be refunded the full Plan Price. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be added to a refund that is not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days after the return of the Service Plan. This provision applies only to the original purchaser.

Minnesota only: The CANCELLATION provision is amended to state that when cancellation occurs for non-payment or material misrepresentation, the cancellation notice will be mailed to you at least five (5) days prior to the cancellation date, which will provide the effective date of the cancellation and the reason for the cancellation. The following is added to the ARBITRATION provision: Any Arbitration shall take place in the state where you reside or at any other place agreed to in writing by you and us.

Missouri only: The CANCELLATION provision is deleted and replaced with the following: You may cancel your Service Plan within the first sixty (60) days of purchase by either returning the Service Plan to the Retailer from whom you purchased it or mailing your cancellation request to the Administrator at [3800 SE 22nd Ave., Portland, OR 97202,] [1-800-457-5977] and receive a refund in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Plan Price. You may cancel your Service Plan after sixty (60) days from the date of purchase by either returning it to the Retailer from whom you purchased it or mailing your cancellation request to the Administrator at [3800 SE 22nd Ave., Portland, OR 97202], [1-800-457-5977]. You will receive a pro rata refund of the Plan Price based on a term of thirty-five (35) years. We are entitled to an administrative fee of ten percent (10%). Ninety percent (90%) of the Plan Price is earned at the end of year 31; no refund will be due after the 31st year. The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive your request for cancellation together with your Service Plan. We reserve the right to cancel this Service Plan at any time in the event of fraud, material misrepresentation, or nonpayment by you. If we must cancel this Service Plan, you will receive a pro rata refund of the Plan Price based on a term of thirty-five (35) years. If we must cancel this Service Plan, you will be provided with a written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to cancellation at your last known address, with the effective date and reason for cancellation. Prior notice of cancellation is not necessary if canceled due to nonpayment of the Plan Price or material misrepresentation. If this Service Plan was inadvertently sold to you on a Product(s), which was not intended to be covered by this Service Plan, we will cancel this Service Plan and return the full Plan Price of the Service Plan to you.

Nevada only: The following is added to the TO OBTAIN SERVICE provision: If you are not satisfied with the manner in which we are handling the claim on your Service Plan, you may contact the Commissioner by calling the toll-free number, [(888) 872-3234]. Under the CANCELLATION provision: Reference to an administrative fee of ten percent (10%) is deleted and replaced with a cancellation fee of ten percent (10%) or twenty-five dollars ($25), whichever is less. Return Policy

We want you to know that your happiness with our lab-grown diamonds and jewelry is our highest priority. As such, we offer a 100 day return policy, allowing you plenty of time to ensure that everything is just right. If you decide to return your purchase for any reason, just return it within 100 days, along with the Lab Created diamond certificate (if applicable) for a full refund or an exchange, at your option.

Clean Origin will pay for the cost of return shipping on all ring and loose Lab Created diamond returns by providing you with a pre-paid Fed-Ex return shipping label, along with instructions on how to prepare your return.

All returned items must be returned with all documentation (including Lab Created diamond certificates) and must be in their original, out-of-the-box condition.

Orders that have been exchanged, re-sized, engraved and custom pieces are not eligible for return and shall be considered a final sale. Previously returned orders will be considered an exchange.

Returning Your Order

In order to return your order, please follow these instructions:

Obtain your shipping label: Contact us at advisor@cleanorigin.com and we will provide you with your free FedEx return shipping label along with a code for tracking the return. Free FedEx return shipping labels are only available in the United States at this time.

Preparing your purchase for Return: It is very important that you include all of the original packaging and accompanying materials with your return, including the Lab Created diamond certificate (to avoid being charged a $150 certificate replacement fee) and the original packing slip. For resizes, please retain your original certificates and related materials. To avoid security issues, please do not write anything on the packaging that could be used to identify its contents.

Insurance: There is insurance available on your product return or re-size, but ONLY if you use the FedEx prepaid label, apply the return code, and "double box" the returned or re-sized item as follows: Place your item inside its original package, as it was delivered to you (i.e., inside the jewelry box). Next, include that box inside the original packaging you received from Clean Origin wherever possible. If you no longer have the original outside packaging, please include the jewelry box inside a small FedEx Priority box and seal it. This box (either the outside packaging or the FedEx Priority box) should be placed inside a medium FedEx Priority box. Next, apply the provided FedEx label to the outside of the medium FedEx Priority box, write the return code on the label, and drop it off at the FedEx location most convenient to you. Please note that neither Clean Origin nor FedEx are responsible for packages dropped off in FedEx Drop Boxes or Non-FedEx staffed locations, so please consider that in your location decision. It is highly recommended that you request a receipt from FedEx at the time of drop off to confirm that the shipment has been received. This will also serve as your proof for insurance purposes.

Refund Process

Once your returned purchase is received, our Returns Department will inspect the returned item. All un-boxing are done under recorded video to ensure that what was received by us is not lost or misplaced. Additionally, each of our Lab Created diamonds have been micro-etched with unique identifiers, which will be used to verify their authenticity. Once the returned item has been verified, a process which can take up to seven (7) business days from receipt, Clean Origin will issue you a refund for the original purchase price amount using the same means that payment was originally made, except for bank wire payments, which are refunded by check. Credit card refunds may take as much as one-monthly billing cycle to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your issuer.

You must obtain a return shipping authorization code from us prior to returning. If you do not include this code on your return label or if the packaging does not meet the above standards, we may refuse delivery or you may be charged a re-stocking fee of 150. You have seven days from the issuance of the return authorization code to ship your return. All requests for refunds may require you to complete additional paperwork to document the request.

Resizing Policy

Stuff happens, we get it, and the last thing you should be worrying about is “I was a little bit off on the finger size”, we’ve got you covered.

Within 100 days of the original shipment date to our US customers we are pleased to offer one complimentary ring resizing for our standard ring styles with free shipping both ways. The way this works is pretty simple, determine her correct finger size, send us an email at Advisor@cleanorigin.com. Be sure to include the original order number, the size you would like the ring to be sized to, and the address you would like us to utilize (if it differs from the original order ship to address).

We will process the request and provide the paperwork, instructions, and FedEx shipping label within 48 hours, via email. Please follow the provided instructions. The FedEx Boxes are free at the FedEx office near you. We will send you an email and let you know we received your package before getting to work. Most resizing can be done in 5 to 10 business days and since we ship all of our rings FedEx Standard Overnight delivery you can expect your ring back within 11 business days. If we encounter a delay for any reason at all we will let you know immediately and give you an expected date of shipment.

Some ring designs, for example, Eternity Bands, cannot be resized after the ring has been built for you or may have a limited size range available. These items will be clearly marked in the product description and we will make every effort to work with you to ensure that the correct size is ordered. Many couples choose to have their engagement ring engraved and this is a sweet way to commemorate the occasion. We would like to suggest that you be sure the ring is the proper size prior to having it engraved as we cannot guarantee the integrity of the engraving during the resizing process. If you resize your ring at the time of purchase, any subsequent resizes will be subject to fees.

Can I get my order faster?

We offer free FedEx Standard Overnight delivery on all custom engagement rings and loose diamonds. To make your Clean Origin experience as comfortable as possible, we also offer free return shipping on all ring orders and loose Lab Created diamond orders.

All other orders are shipped via free FedEx 2 Business Day delivery. These orders can be upgraded to FedEx Standard Overnight delivery at an additional cost.

Can you ship my package to a FedEx location to be held for pick up?

Absolutely! You can have the package shipped to a FedEx Ship Center or a FedEx Print and Ship to be Held for Pickup, where it can be held for up to five Business days. Please follow the steps below:

Nope! Your Clean Origin purchase will arrive via FedEx in an unmarked cardboard box. Inside, you'll find your custom Clean Origin ring box, crafted in eco-friendly paper. The blue low-profile box is designed to discreetly fit inside your pants or jacket pocket — perfect for keeping it safe and secret before the big question.

Loose diamonds are secured within an elegant suspension box. Suspended within a transparent window your diamond appears as if it is floating, allowing it to be held up and inspected in the light.

Are Clean Origin Lab Created diamonds certified by the GIA?

We partner with several independent, highly reputable diamond certification laboratories. The two most prominent ones are IGI (International Gemological Institute) and GCAL (Gem Certification and Assurance Lab). Learn more about the certification process here.

Why is the cut grade missing from some of your stones?

If the shape of the stone is not a traditional round, it may not have a cut grade. There are many ways to cut a Marquis, a Radiant or an Oval stone (to name just a few) in order to play up brilliance and beauty. For this reason, cut grades are not typically assigned to these types of "fancy shape" diamonds.

How long does it take to ship my loose diamond order?

You can expect to receive your center stone within 5 to 7 business days through FedEx expedited and insured shipping.

Are your shipments fully insured?

Yes. All of our shipments are 100% insured.

Do you offer jewelry insurance?

Yes. Through our trusted partner, Zillion, we offer worldwide jewelry coverage against loss, theft, accidental damage and disappearance. Insurance by Zillion can be purchased at checkout. Insurance cannot be purchased for loose diamonds.

Does Clean Origin offer layaway plan?

We currently do not offer that option. However, we do offer financing through Affirm, one of the leading ecommerce finance companies.

CLEAN ORIGIN Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

Clean OriginTM is dedicated to not only providing its customers with brilliant lab-grown diamonds but also peace of mind in knowing that Clean Origin stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry with a lifetime guarantee that it will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.

All of our jewelry is manufactured using the very best materials and is thoroughly inspected prior to shipment. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or substitute it without additional cost to you. If we determine that damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect and should charges apply, we will notify you prior to performing any work on your item. Replacement and repair times are dependent upon the severity of the damage and availability of a replacement. Clean Origin will pay for the costs of shipping and handling of all jewelry covered under the Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. A 150 deposit will be taken before the shipment of your item to Clean Origin for evaluation, which covers the cost of shipping the item and an evaluation by our expert jewelers to determine if the damage is subject to the warranty. This fee is refunded in full for all warrantied repairs. We also offer complimentary shipping back to the customer for all warrantied repairs. Repairs that are not covered under the lifetime warranty will have a price quoted to the customer for approval before work is performed. If approved, the deposit will be applied to this repair. If the customer chooses not to perform the repair, the deposit will be applied to cover the shipping charge back to the customer after evaluation.

If the item is no longer available, Clean Origin may, in its discretion, replace with like-kind of the original item.

Repair or service performed by a jeweler other than Clean Origin will void the warranty. The Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty does not cover damages caused by negligence, normal wear and tear, improper care, accident, discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, or the natural breakdown of materials over an extended time and use. The Clean Origin Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty only covers original and unaltered products.
